An Inspector Calls Book Review | J. B. Priestley AQA GCSE English

An Inspector Calls is a short play written by J. B. Priestly. It is an integral part of the AQA GCSE English exam. The short play is quite interesting, it is about a young woman who died in an Infirmary from swallowing a lot of strong disinfectant; this burnt her inside out. A family dinner party is held but a police inspector who is investigating the suicide of a young working class woman turns up, linking them to her death... The short play was rather exciting and it is structured in a way that keeps the reader on their toes.
